How It Works

Home How It Works

Women Together is a safe space where women can help each other. Here you can ask for help, offer help, or just connect with someone who understands your situation.

Life can be hard, especially if you are far from family, have young children, or live in a new country. Even small tasks can feel overwhelming. This community is here to make those challenges easier.

1. Stay Safe

Your safety is very important. Before meeting anyone or sharing personal details:

  • Start by chatting on the site. Do not share your phone number or address until you feel comfortable.
  • Meet in public places the first few times, like a park or café.
  • Bring a friend if it makes you feel safer.
  • Be clear about what help you need or can give.

2. Sign Up

To use all the features of the site:

  1. Click Register and create an account.
  2. Fill in your profile (location, interests, skills, or type of help you can give).
  3. Read the community rules (Trust code) – this keeps everyone safe and respected.

After registration, you can post requests, offer help, and message other women nearby.

3. Asking for Help

If you need support:

  1. Go to the “Looking for Help” section.
  2. Enter your location (street, neighborhood, or city).
  3. Describe clearly what kind of help you need, for example:
         – Babysitting for a couple of hours
         – Help with groceries or errands
         – Emotional support or advice
  4. Include details about time and special needs (like if you have children, pets, or need language help).
  5. Submit your request. Nearby women will see it and respond if they can help.

💡 Tip: Short, clear, and polite posts get faster and better responses.

4. Offering Help

If you want to support others:

  1. Click “Offer Help”.
  2. Describe what help you can give, for example:
         – Childcare or babysitting
         – Cooking a meal or helping with housework
         – Listening and giving emotional support
         – Professional services (if registered as a business account)
  3. Add your availability and any conditions (age limits, location, etc.).
  4. Submit your post. Women who need help can contact you.
  1.

💡 Tip: Even small help makes a big difference. Being honest about your availability prevents misunderstandings.

5. Connect and Finalize

When someone responds to your post:

  • Use the site chat to agree on time, place, and details.
  • Be kind, polite, and clear in your messages.
  • Confirm plans in writing on the chat before meeting.

💡 Tip: Summarize the plan in one message to make sure everyone understands.

6. Types of Help You Can Give or Receive

  • Childcare: Swap babysitting or watch each other’s children for a few hours.
  • Life transitions: Moving, leaving a difficult relationship, starting over – connect with women who understand.
  • Emotional support: Just talk, share experiences, or have someone listen.
  • Professional help: Offer paid services safely via a business account.

7. Community Values

Women Together is built on trust, respect, and kindness:

  • Posts are moderated by volunteers from the community.
  • Personal stories are treated with care.
  • Follow the rules and safety guidelines.
  • Give feedback to help other women in the community.

Here you can ask for help without shame, offer help when you can, and connect with women who truly understand.

You are never alone. Whether you need practical support, emotional support, or just someone to talk to, this community is here for you.
